Our client a leading supplier of spare parts, servicing and maintenance for a wide range of earthmoving equipment, trucks, trailers and diesel engines are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Diesel Fitter / Mechanic to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proven diesel fitting experience
- Engine & transmission rebuilding
- Diagnostic testing (Dyno testing exp and advantage)
- Experience on Caterpillar highly regarded
- Fault finding – inspect, identify and diagnosis of mechanical drill malfunctions
- Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job
- Perform site inspection process
- Participate in daily shift information meetings
- Ensure workshop procedures are adhered to and understood.

- Trade Qualified
- Ability to do workshop and site work
- Demonstrated ability for safety
- Own Transport
- Basic Tools of Trade
- Looking for ongoing secure work in Townsville.
