2nd Class Welder

We are seeking a skilled and reliable 2nd Class Welder to join an engineering workshop based in Pinkenba. This role involves welding, fabrication, and assembly of structural elements and components used in the mining industry. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople to deliver quality outcomes safely and efficiently.

• $38 / hr
• 4.00am starts

Job Description:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel supports and components
• Read workshop drawings and job sheets
• Work safely in accordance with WHS procedures
• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and production-ready
• Support tradesman in other works as required

We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a 2nd Class Welder or similar role
• Competent MIG welding skills
• Basic fabrication and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work to tolerances and follow instructions
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
• Must have FULL Australian working rights
• Be able to pass drug & alcohol and medical
