Production Labourer – $32.80/hr

We are currently seeking experienced Production Labourers to join the growing team of our client; a well-established manufacturing business located near the Brisbane Airport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy, clean, and modern production facility, where you’ll be involved in the processing and assembly of custom-made products.

• $32.80 / hr
• Day shift times

• Overtime available at times
• Reliable – must have own car and licence
• Able to lift 20 kg consistently
• Able to work independently
• Understand and demonstrate the importance of WHS

3 Roles Available

Production

Key responsibilities:

• Cutting, shaping, finishing tiles or stone
• Experience using cutting and measuring tools – tile saws, water jet cutter. Bridge saws, grinders, polishers, profiling machines
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Ensure all business and individual key performance indicators are met
• Other duties as assigned

Gluing

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and assembly skimmer lid tiles
• Work to 1mm tolerances
• Glue skimmer box tiles inside of metal frames with 1mm gap – apply adhesive to attached mesh, backing or assemble – must be happy to work with epoxy glues
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Ensure all business and individual key performance indicators are met
• Other duties as assigned

Packer

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in unpacking and packing of product
• Manual handling and movement of tiles and associated product
• Accurately picking, packing, and dispatching orders
• Maintaining a clean, organised warehouse environment
• Following instructions and procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Physically labour Intensive
