Fitter Machinist

We are seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our clients growing team on Brisbane’s Northside – Immediate starts on offer!!

What you’ll be doing:

🔸Planning and execution of preventative and breakdown maintenance to improve reliability of equipment

🔸Maintaining, servicing and troubleshooting failures of plant machinery and equipment

🔸Fabrication and machining work as required

🔸Proactively contribute to new installations and projects

Ideal Skills and Experience:

🔸Maintenance Fitter Trade qualification or similar trade with maintenance fitting experience

🔸High Risk Forklift Licence

🔸Exposure to work permit systems and lock out, tag out procedures

🔸Proven experience, knowledge and understanding of mechanical maintenance procedures

🔸Previous experience working in a similar role – manufacturing and/or plastics industry highly regarded

🔸Experience in troubleshooting and automation

🔸Ability to work with minimal supervision and understand clear direction with a team approach

🔸Sound written and verbal communication skills

🔸Restricted electrical licence an advantage
