We are seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Lifting & Safety Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. If you thrive on variety, have a mechanical mindset, and take pride in safety and quality, this is the role for you.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing, and assembling a wide range of lifting, rigging, height-safety, and material handling equipment for our valued clients. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders and play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of compliance and performance.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Hydra jaws pull testing, force measuring, weighing, and true weight proof load testing
  • Tagging, certifying, repairing, and documenting inspection results using CORE software
  • On-site customer testing & inspection as required
  • Assembling products such as hoists, winches, shackles, chains, slings, and more
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian standards and quality control
  • Assisting customers with product information and inspection advice
  • Representing the business professionally during site visits and equipment pickups

Other Duties

  • Driving to client sites for collections (vehicle provided)
  • Supporting a positive, safe, and policy-compliant workplace

What You’ll Bring

  • C-Class Driver’s Licence (MR preferred)
  • LF Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Working Safely at Heights (essential)
  • Dogman / Basic Rigging & EWP tickets (advantageous)
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar mechanical or safety-focused role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & tablet-based reporting systems
  • A strong understanding of lifting, rigging, or safety equipment is highly desirable
