💥 Trade Fitter – Precision Mechanical Work | $51.40/hr | Day Shift 💥
Ongoing Opportunity with Quick Perm Potential | Brisbane Northside | Fitter Role in High-Spec Manufacturing

We’re currently seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Fitter to join the Exciter team at a globally recognised heavy engineering facility. This is a great long-term role with real potential to go permanent quickly for the right person.

• Monday to Friday – 5:30am to 2:00pm
• Early Friday finishes!!
• Stable ongoing role with fast-tracked perm opportunity
• Work on cutting-edge, high-performance industrial mining equipment
• Based on Brisbane’s Northside – own reliable transport required

What you’ll be doing:

• Precision fitting, assembly and disassembly of Exciters (heavy mechanical vibratory units)
• Refurbishment of existing Exciter machines
• Working from technical drawings and engineering specs
• Use of tools like torque wrenches, presses, micrometers, dial indicators
• Following strict safety and quality control processes
• Collaborating closely with skilled tradespeople in a high-performing team

What we’re looking for:

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in gearbox assembly, rotating equipment or precision fitting
• Strong mechanical aptitude, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
• Solid understanding of lubrication systems, tolerances, and quality control
• Reliable and punctual with a proactive work ethic
• Own transport is essential
• Forklift ticket preferred
