About the Role

We’re currently seeking experienced Steelfixers & Trade Carpenters to join a busy precast yard in Bundamba. You’ll be working with a skilled team to assist in the setup and production of precast concrete panels for major construction projects.

We’re hiring multiple candidates for an immediate starts. There is potential for ongoing permanent work based on performance.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in steel fixing (precast or construction)
Ability to read and interpret plans accurately
Reliable, team-focused, and safety-conscious attitude

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and follow engineering drawing and specification for reinforcement placement.
Install steel reinforcement, including rebar, mesh and other materials, within precast panels.
Cut, bend and tie steel bars to form reinforced cages or frames.
Assist in the preparation of molds and formwork for precast concrete. for precast concrete panel production
Carpenters to help with formwork
Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
Assisting with yard setup and daily operations
Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

What You’ll Need

White Card (Construction Induction) – Essential
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport – Essential
Minimum 2 years of steelfixing experience
Precast experience – Highly regarded
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
Strong work ethic and team mindset
