Warehouse / Yardperson – Forklift Operator

Join a well-established manufacturing / engineering company specialising in plastic products. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse / Yard Person with proven forklift experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating side-loading forklifts to safely load and unload pipes up to 21 metres long
• Handling heavy and oversized materials in a busy yard environment
• Loading trucks and managing yard stock
• Assisting with general store person duties when not engaged in yard operations
• Helping out with production labouring duties when required
• Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean worksite

Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence – ability to pick up operation of Side Loader Forklift
• Proven experience operating larger forklifts (minimum 5 years preferred)
• Confident handling long loads and working in a yard environment
• Physically fit and ‘safety conscious’
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment
