About the Opportunity

Accurate Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and experienced Production Workers with a Forklift Licence to join our client’s busy manufacturing team in Geebung.

This is a hands-on role within an established manufacturing and engineering environment, involving a range of production, machinery operation and forklift duties. Full training will be provided on the machinery and processes.

We are looking for candidates who are reliable, physically fit, safety-focused and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in securing ongoing employment.

Your Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with the operation of manufacturing machinery – full training provided
• Operating forklifts to safely move products and materials
• Loading, unloading and transferring materials as required
• Labelling, stacking and storing cleaned or processed products
• Assisting with general production and labouring duties
• Monitoring production processes and maintaining quality standards
• Completing daily production paperwork and documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Current and valid forklift licence
• Previous forklift operating experience
• Previous experience in manufacturing, recycling, production or machine operation is preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a labour-intensive environment
• Willingness to work across day, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to commit to a 2-week shift rotation
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, micrometers and verniers
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A genuine commitment to ongoing, long-term employment
