Our client based on Brisbane’s Northside are looking for a yard hand with forklift licence and Customer Service experience to work on an ongoing basis.
- $32.00 / hr
- 38 hours per week
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience dealing face to face with customers coming into yard
- Experience working with Timber preferably
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Own transport
- Willingness to learn
- A want to work long term
- Drivers License
- Forklift Licence ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities
- At times operating machinery such as drop saws.
- Helping customers with collection of orders, wrapping, stacking and strapping their orders.
- Physically loading and unloading timber orders on and off machinery requiring heavy lifting.
- Must be able to read drawings and have a good level of maths would be an advantage
- Working hours are from 6am to 2pm Monday – Friday
